Meet the team.

From 2004-2016, Mr Davison headed the healthcare team at Edison Investment Research. Prior to Edison, Robin was an independent biotech consultant and analyst (2002-2014), a biotech investment analyst for Durlacher (2000-2002), a co-founder of a web-based biotech investment newsletter (1998-2000) and editor of Scrip World Pharmaceutical News, an industry newsletter (1993-1998). Robin holds a Masters degree in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College, London (1985-1989).
John had an initial career in international marketing of innovative scientific equipment and services, including the first forensic DNA tests, He then worked with the Medical Research Council, Cabinet office and pharmaceutical companies like GSK and Astra Zeneca on the commercialisation of novel UK science.
Since 1994, John has worked in investment research and corporate advisory and consulting when he joined Greg Middleton, subsequently part of Old Mutual, where he became a Director leading the healthcare team and working closely with corporate finance on IPOs and fundings. In 2001, he co-founded a mathematical biology company, Physiomics plc, developing virtual tumour models to assess anti-cancer therapies and took it through its AIM listing.
He subsequently moved back to consulting with multiple clients corporate and financial clients including City Capital and Edison Investment Research. John co-founded Analyst Hire with Robin in 2019. He has a Ph.D. in bioorganic chemistry from Nottingham and holds an MBA.
